Molusky
Moluscum contagiosum
Molluscum contagiosum is an infectious disease and belongs to the group of Poxviruses. The incubation period is several days to weeks. It is widespread especially in children and in people with reduced immunity and can be transmitted from person to person, most often in children's groups or places with a humid environment (e.g. swimming pools). They are characterized by pink papules that are firmer to the touch, ranging in size from a few millimeters to 0.5 cm in size. The most effective treatment is professional removal of every single mollusk as quickly as possible to prevent the disease from spreading or infecting other people.
