Inflammation around the oral cavity is a typical disease especially in childhood, but we cannot avoid it even in the later period. The most common manifestations are dry, red deposits, sometimes with small rashes, sometimes affecting the cheeks and around the nose. The most frequent in terms of irritation is salivation, finger or pacifier sucking, frequent nail biting, use of various toothpastes, cosmetics, food and constant irritation of this area. However, the multiplication of bacteria or yeast from the mouth and nose can also be a problem. Therapy consists in removing the cause and treating the inflammation.
