Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory disease in the hairline of the head and eyebrows, but it can also occur in fold areas. It is manifested by redness and yellowish, sometimes yellowish-white and yellowish-brown oily scales that adhere relatively firmly to the skin. The problem with this skin disease is excessive production of sebum and increased formation of scales. In severely affected areas, even wetting is present and bacteria and yeast multiply in the area. The therapy consists in removing scales with emollient ointments and subsequent anti-inflammatory treatment of the affected areas.
